The role holder will work closely with Technology Delivery Leads, Architects and Application Onwers to draw out the resiliency roadmap for critcal and high availability technology platforms and applications, and effective operationalisation of these platforms. The focus is on maintaining, upgrading, and continuously improving the Bank's application environment. The role holder will also be responsible for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance and support of applications. This includes monitoring ; responding to incidents, identifying root cause for problems, handling audit queries and planning for growth.
- Focus on high Application availability for ensuring 99.99% uptime of platforms and applications.
- Develop, deploy and continually improve the system monitoring and automation of the platforms and applications
- Have a strong security mindset platform components and applications are safeguarded and monitored at all times, and vulnerabilities
- Conduct detailed RCA of incidents to identify and fix show stoppers. Drive the end to end technical resolution of incidents.
- Drive timely service restoration and focus on removing service-impacting issues
- Collaborate with Product and Support teams to plan and deploy production releases
- Maintain, monitor, and support the Bank Application Suite
- Lead enterprise wide technology initiatives and projects.
- Develop enhanced production monitoring and build additional capabilities in the team.
- Define improvements for increased Application and system reliability and performance.
- Support multiple systems or applications of medium to highly complex (complexity defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.
- Act as the technical liaison between operations teams, engineers and architects, providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability.
